It seems the Washington Nationals will have to win without Stephen Strasburg should they make it to the playoffs.

The Nationals are sticking with their plan to limit the ace right-hander to a maximum of 180 innings this season as a precaution because the 24-year-old is coming off Tommy John surgery on his pitching elbow.

Strasburg has a 13-5 record and a 2.90 earned-run average in 133 1/3 innings.
