Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has taken a lot of flack over his career for ill-timed interceptions, leaving him open for criticism and a bevy of sometimes cruel (yet still funny) Intenet memes.

But NFL.com analyst and former professional football player Bucky Brooks believes Romo deserves some credit.

In his recent list of the NFL's most clutch quarterbacks, Brooks puts Romo ahead of a few Super Bowl winners at No. 6.

Here's what Brooks had to write about Romo:

"The sight of Romo's name on a list of clutch performers will make some Cowboys fans cringe, but the three-time Pro Bowler doesn't get enough credit for coming through in crucial situations. Romo is one of the most efficient fourth-quarter quarterbacks, completing 69.6 percent of his passes and compiling a 105.6 passer rating in the final period last season.
