"Nate Robinson's first start as a Celtic yesterday was torrid. He scored 16 of his 22 points in the first quarter.
Though he's done more in 12 minutes - he once had a 22-point quarter with the Knicks - Robinson made the most of replacing Rajon Rondo.
"Nate was great tonight," said forward Kevin Garnett after the C's 102-101 loss to the Raptors. "He did a great job of getting us into sets. He took care of his team. He was aggressive, and that's what we need. When Rondo's out we all have to pitch in and pick up those pieces."
The Celtics better get used to their 5-foot-9 point guard in the short term. Robinson will likely start tonight with Rondo attempting to recover from a strained left hamstring.
Robinson got the start for two reasons: Delonte West is still struggling with back spasms and has yet to get up to speed with the offense following his 10-game suspension."
