"Predators Coach Barry Trotz became flustered by reporters' questions Wednesday about captain Shea Weber's playing status for today's game against Dallas at Bridgestone Arena.

Weber is recovering from a concussion he suffered the last time Nashville played the Stars on Dec. 23. He has missed the past four games.

Based on his ability to practice the past two days, the defenseman appears ready to play.

But the Predators have not allowed Weber to speak to the media since he was injured, and he has not yet told Trotz whether he feels well enough to play."
