"Brett Myers completed a six-game minor-league rehabilitation assignment with a dominant inning of relief last night for the triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs.Myers got two groundouts and a strikeout while throwing just eight pitches in the eighth inning of Lehigh Valley's 2-1 International League loss to the Syracuse Chiefs at Coca-Cola Park."I felt great," the righthander said afterward. "I feel ready to go. The command of my fastball is good. I'm most pleased that I'm getting people out."Myers, who had hip surgery on June 4, could be activated by the Phillies by the time they open a series in Houston tomorrow night. He is scheduled to fly with the club to Houston tonight.During his rehab assignment, which included stops at all levels of the minors, Myers pitched eight innings of relief and allowed four hits and a run. He walked two and struck out 13."
