"Sounding like he is growing increasingly frustrated with the negotiations, Ducks GM Bob Murray said on Thursday that he's "done for a while" after his latest contract offer to winger Bobby Ryan was turned down.

In a conference call to announce the signings of center Saku Koivu and defenseman Toni Lydman, Murray revealed that he sweetened his previous offer to a flat five-year deal worth $25 million and said it was rejected.

"We went to five years at $5 million a year, thinking that after what I heard him say last week that it would be very close," Murray said. "We offered him a four-year deal at a lower number and they flat out turned that down as quick as you can say whatever you want to say.""
