Munchak not prepared to join Team Jake camp

"Repeat after me:

There is no quarterback controversy, there is no quarterback controversy, there is no quarterback controversy.

I'm glad we got that straightened out.

Titans head coach Mike Munchak made it crystal clear on Sunday night that the offense will be back in the hands of veteran Matt Hasselbeck as soon as his injured right elbow heals, leaving rookie Jake Locker to return to his role as apprentice.

"If Matt's fine, he's our quarterback," Munchak said. "There's no doubt about that."

Silly me. Of course that's the case. These are the Titans, after all. They're right in their comfort zone with .500 football — 5-5 after the 23-17 loss to Atlanta.

With a two-game deficit to Houston in the AFC South with only six games remaining, why change course?"
