There were three reasonable candidates, but on Wednesday, it was one of the long shots announced as the competition's winner.

"Bill Muir," Haley said finally, more than seven months since promoting the longtime coach into the team's vacancy at offensive coordinator.

"It's a group contribution of what we like, where we like it, and kind of place that along the call sheet. But ultimately it will fall to Bill to make those decisions."
