Third baseman Adrian Beltre will have an MRI on Monday after the Rangers return from their nine-game road to determine the severity of his strained left hamstring. Beltre continues to believe that the injury is not serious and should keep him out only a matter of days.

He said the injury he suffered last year was considerably worse than this one, which was suffered in the second inning of Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader.

"I don't think that it's a big deal," Beltre said Sunday morning. "I knew when it happened [last year] it wasn't good. This one is different."
