"In trying to put some of Aaron Rodgers' extraordinary passing statistics into perspective – or just bring them back into the realm of belief – the Packers' weekly press release drew a comparison between Rodgers and all other NFL quarterbacks since he became the club's starter in 2008. He was No. 1, 2 or 3 in passing yards, passing touchdowns, passer rating, yards per attempt, pass plays of 25 yards or more and rushing touchdowns.
In all but the last category, the top three also included Philip Rivers. Further noted is that the only two quarterbacks with 100-plus ratings for each of the past two seasons were Rivers and Rodgers, who also are first and second in career points-per-game as NFL starters, in that order."
