Moss in Tennessee: 'The show must go on'

"Randy Moss hit pause on his media ban Wednesday, but only for 184 seconds, in which he discussed his sudden departure from the Vikings after a four-week homecoming.

Moss briefly discussed his exit from Minnesota after participating in his first full practice with the Tennessee Titans, who claimed him off waivers last week.

"I've been through a lot in the last couple of weeks," Moss said in his opening statement. "Like I said, I've got these broad shoulders. I can carry a lot of weight. The process of getting here has been kind of crazy. I left a lot of good friends, a lot of good guys in Minnesota and I'm sorry it didn't work out. The show must go on."

The Vikings waived Moss last week after four games because coach Brad Childress described the volatile receiver as a "programmatic nonfit." Childress angered fans by cutting Moss and also the team's owners for not informing them beforehand.

The Titans were the only team to put in a claim on Moss, who joined the team after its bye week. During his bizarre postgame rant after the New England loss before his release, Moss told reporters that he would no longer take questions after being fined $25,000 for not cooperating with the media. Moss said in the future he would ask himself questions and then give the answers.

He took four questions Wednesday after telling reporters, "I'm going to give y'all maybe two, not more than three questions."

"I made Minnesota my home," he said. "I love being there. It just didn't work out. I have my own beliefs and what I believe in and Coach [Childress] had his. Am I bitter or mad that he let me go in the organization? No. You never know what the future holds, but right now I'm a Tennessee Titan and I'm here to do whatever coach [Jeff] Fisher wants me to do."

Internally, the Vikings became frustrated with Moss' inconsistent effort in practice and games, his lack of respect for authority and the manner in which he treated people."
