For six innings it looked as though Texas Rangers ace Yu Darvish might throw his first major league no-hitter. Then the Twins got serious. Rookie Chris Herrmann's two-run homer tied the score in the top of the seventh and Justin Morneau followed with a solo shot that made it 3-2. Twins RHP Liam Hendriks (1-2) outdueled Darvish with six innings of solid work (five hits two runs one earned) to pick up his second career victory in 25 starts. Glen Perkins tossed a perfect ninth to earn his 31st save in 34 chances.
