"The consensus names at the top of Thursday's NBA draft -- Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams and Brandon Knight -- have basically stayed the same throughout the evaluation process.
After that, however, things become interesting.
There's the hot-shot point guard from BYU whose shooting range is anywhere on the court. There's the tough-minded point guard from Connecticut who led the Huskies to the NCAA title last season and several interesting European players, as well.
This year's draft may not have the star power of previous years, but there's still plenty of suspense surrounding where players will end up.
"This is a difficult draft to figure out right now," Indiana Pacers general manager David Morway said. "It's a better draft than what it's being made out to be. It doesn't have the superstar power at the top, but there are a lot of solid players, and I think there's going to be a lot of value in the first round in terms of quality players.""
