"It was one of those nights for the Spurs.
The Spurs endured a 110-80 thrashing at the hands of Miami Monday night. It was the Spurs' worst loss in nearly three seasons, dating back to a 101-71 playof loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on May 23, 2008.
And it was the Spurs' biggest regular-season loss since April 7, 2005, a 104-68 defeat at Dallas.
It came after the Spurs'30 point victory in San Antonio only 10 days ago.
"They did a great job tonight," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said about the Heat. "They were very active with good physical play. They shot well and kicked our butts.""
