As their losing streak grows, the A's find more gut-wrenching ways to give games away.

Closer Brian Fuentes served up a three-run, walk-off homer to former Athletic Josh Willingham in the ninth inning Tuesday, and the Minnesota Twins sent the A's to their seventh straight defeat, 3-2.

Willingham's blast capped an unsatisfying day for the A's, as they acknowledged Tuesday morning that they have no idea when slugger Manny Ramirez might be called up from the minors to bolster their sputtering offense.

The A's led 2-0 and were one out away from finally breaking into the win column. But with runners on the corners, Fuentes served up a 1-0 pitch that Willingham blasted over the wall in left-center, sending what remained of a crowd of 31,781 into delirium.
