The extra work Timberwolves forward Kevin Love has put in the past several days to improve his shooting appears to be paying off.

Wolves coach Rick Adelman has noticed the improvement.

"He's shot the ball very well the last two days of practice," Adelman said of Love after practice Tuesday, Jan. 1. "He's taking his shots and not hesitating."

Love is shooting only 34.3 percent (22 of 64) in the Wolves' past four games. He showed progress in Saturday's win over Phoenix when he made 8 of 20 shots, including two three-pointers.

Love, who shot 44.8 percent last season, enters the Wolves' game at Utah on Wednesday night shooting 35.8 percent.

Love has been trying to regain his shooting touch after missing 11 games this season because of a broken right hand and flu-like symptoms.
