"Washington Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said that tight end Chris Cooley will meet Sunday with noted orthopedic surgeon James Andrews about his problematic left knee.

Cooley, who had surgery on his fractured left index finger Wednesday, will be sidelined for an extended period of time because of the finger, but Shanahan said he wasn't sure how long. The knee could keep the two-time Pro Bowl player out even longer, depending on Andrews' findings."
