The recent and overwhelming trend in the NFL is for team to have training camp at their regular season facility, with fewer than half the teams going away for the summer.

But at least one team could be turning that tide.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Browns coach Mike Pettine “wants camp to have a different feel than the regular season,” which could lead them away from the team facility in Berea.

The ability to get a team away from its normal routine to promote bonding and more intense focus on football is the oft-cited reason for coaches who want to go camping.
