"Mike Green suffered an apparent setback in his recovery from a twisted right ankle Wednesday when he was unable to skate for more than 10 minutes. Coach Bruce Boudreau said he was doubtful the defenseman would be able to play Friday in Carolina, given that he has yet to practice with the full group.

"If I feel good I'll play," Green said. "It's day to day. I wake up each day, it feels a little bit better, tomorrow could be a lot better than today."
