" Mike Bibby seems to be fitting in well with his new teammates.

The Heat's newly acquired point guard made two important three-pointers against the Lakers and followed up that performance on Saturday with his best night with his new team.

Bibby didn't miss on Saturday, shooting 5 of 5 from three-point range and 2 of 2 from the free-throw line to finish with 17 points. Bibby's perfect night was one three-pointer shy of trying a career high.

Three of Bibby's three-pointers came in the fourth quarter. He led the Heat with 11 points in the final 12 minutes of the game. He played 26 minutes on Saturday, including the entire second and fourth quarters.

After the game, Bibby said he's still getting acclimated to his new team.

"Still trying to learn the plays and still trying to ask questions on what I should do," Bibby said. "I don't think I'm there yet, but I think I'll get to the point where I will be."

Although Bibby said he still has things to learn about his new team, Dwyane Wade said he already has noticed a difference in the Heat's offense when Bibby is on the court.

"One thing I love about him is he is one of those point guards who doesn't care about dribbling and getting the assist," Wade said. "He gets the ball up the floor. That has enabled me and LeBron [James] to attack the defense first and see what they are going to do."

Bibby's presence also seems to be having a positive effect on Mario Chalmers, the Heat's starting point guard. Bibby and Chalmers have split time since Bibby arrived and Chalmers numbers have improved steadily since his disastrous 2 of 11 shooting performance against the Magic."
