According to multiple reports, Miikka Kiprusoff isn't going anywhere before Wednesday's 1 p.m. trade deadline.

The Calgary Flames goaltender arrived at work Wednesday morning and — barring a surprise — is expected to be on the ice for the morning skate at the Saddledome.

The Flames host the Edmonton Oilers in Wednesday's Battle of Alberta (8 p.m., Sportsnet West, Sportsnet 960), and it's possible Kiprusoff could be between the pipes as the starting goalie.

The 36-year-old Kiprusoff has been at the centre of trade talks this week, with the Toronto Maple Leafs being granted permission to chat with him and his agent, Larry Kelly, about his future plans.
