" Percy Harvin remained away from Winter Park on Friday and is doubtful for Sunday's game against the New York Giants because of a migraine-related illness.
The wide receiver and Pro Bowl kick returner missed the Buffalo game last weekend and hasn't taken part in a full practice since Nov. 26.
"It's going to be very, very difficult to get him up to speed," coach Leslie Frazier said. "But we'll see."
"He's had migraines before, and when he has those episodes, you don't always know how long they're going to last or the severity of those migraines. ... Nobody can deal with it other than the person who's having those migraines. In my case, I end up going by what the doctors tell me and also when I communicate with Percy, what he tells me. Right now, no football for right now."
Cornerback Chris Cook and safety Tyrell Johnson were declared out for Sunday. Both are suffering from knee injures. Cook will miss his third consecutive game because of pain in his left knee.
Cook had arthroscopic surgery to repair meniscus tears in both his knees this season, and Frazier admitted the rookie could be shut down for the remaining three games if the pain and swelling don't subside.
"We're discussing a lot of things with Chris, and that is one part of the discussion," Frazier said. "He is a rookie. He's a guy we think has a great future with our football team. We're going through some different scenarios and trying to do what's best for him and the team as well."
Johnson is sidelined because of a sprained MCL in his left knee, which happened when he forced a fumble on a kickoff return by Buffalo in the first quarter.
"I told Jamarca [ Sanford ] that I couldn't even get up to celebrate," Johnson said."
