Michigan is planning ahead in its non-conference schedule.

Way ahead.

U-M has agreed to play a home-and-home series against Oklahoma during the 2025 and 2026 seasons, the two programs announced Monday.

The first meeting, to be played when some current Michigan players are in their early-30s, is slated for Sept. 6, 2025 at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla. It will mark only the second all-time meeting between the two traditional college college football powers.

The Wolverines and Sooners previously met in the 1976 Orange Bowl, a 14-6 victory for Oklahoma.

The return game in the home-and-home series will be on Sept. 12, 2026, at Michigan Stadium.

According to a joint press release from U-M and Oklahoma, the game times and network television arrangements will be determined by the respective conferences prior to each season.
