"Capitals goalie Michal Neuvirth is day-to-day with a lower-body injury that kept him from practicing Wednesday, according to Coach Bruce Boudreau. But there is still a chance that the 23-year-old Czech will play in Pittsburgh Thursday.
"Right now, he's got a lower-body injury that's day-to-day," Boudreau said. "He might be there tomorrow, we'll see. Right now we're just taking it cautiously."
If Neuvirth takes the skate in Pittsburgh, Boudreau said there's a "good chance" he'll face the Penguins. "
