Starting forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is "highly questionable" for tonight's home game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Steve Clifford told the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell today.

Kidd-Gilchrist has plantar fasciitis in his right foot.

If Kidd-Gilchrist is indeed out, the Bobcats could start Jeff Taylor at the wing. They have some other options though they're a bit more ... eccentric, let's say. Regardless, I expect to see more of Anthony Tolliver.

Kidd-Gilchrist has had an up-and-down season so far. He's been a more efficient scorer with a 50.9 percent mark on field goals but after a good start to his season, he's quieted down a bit. Always active, Kidd-Gilchrist is still solid on the glass and defense but his development as a jump shooter continues to hamper his effectiveness on offense.

The Bobcats have lost six of their last seven home games. The Bucks have lost five of six road games this season.

For more on plantar fasciitis, here's a post from a Golden State Warriors trainer who also worked with the USA National Team.
