Michael Carter-Williams was given permission by the team to go home for personal reasons after the Sixers' loss in Detroit on Saturday night.

He missed the game against the Pistons because of a sore right shoulder. Brett Brown said his starting point guard is a game-time decision for tonight's game against the Nets in Brooklyn.

Brown also said the sore shoulder did not occur from any one play.

"It wasn't a single incident," Brown described. "It is just the normal part of a NBA season of wear-and-tear. Again, we just decided to be cautious with it and err on that side completely."

Given the snowy weather conditions and MCW's having to travel from Boston, his arrival in Brooklyn could be difficult.
