Expected to enter summer camp as one of a handful of contenders to replace All-American Darqueze Dennard, Ezra Robinson will instead continue his collegiate career somewhere other than East Lansing.

In a very brief press release, Michigan State announced that Robinson has been granted a release from his scholarship and is free to transfer. No reason was given for the cornerback’s decision to leave the Spartans.

A Sarasota, Fla., native, there’s no word yet on a potential destination.
