Rion Brown led five players in double figures with 20 points as the visiting Hurricanes finished strong to defeat the Wolfpack.

Garrius Adams scored 16 while Tonye Jekiri had 14 points and 13 rebounds for his first career double-double as Miami (15-14, 6-10 ACC) ended the game with a 21-5 run. Erik Swoope and Manu Lecomte added 15 points apiece for the Hurricanes, who shot 58.7 percent from the field.

T.J. Warren scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the way for North Carolina State (17-12, 7-9), which has lost four of its last five. Kyle Washington contributed 13 points and Desmond Lee added 10 for the Wolfpack

Brown scored 10 in the opening 20 minutes as the Hurricanes rallied to take a 37-36 edge at intermission after Davon Reed’s 3-pointer in the final seconds. Lecomte drained two 3-pointers and Swoope capped a 14-5 burst with a dunk as Miami built a nine-point lead 6 ½ minutes into the second half.

Warren took over with 11 points during the Wolfpack's own 14-5 run later in the half, capped by two consecutive dunks, as North Carolina State edged in front 65-64 with 6 ½ minutes to go. The Hurricanes answered by scoring the next 13 – including five by Adams – and held on to even their ACC road record at 4-4.
