Heat point guard Mario Chalmers is enjoying the best season of his career as a three-point shooter, but he likely will be ignored by the NBA for the three-point contest.

Chalmers led the Heat with 54 three-pointers entering Monday's game against the Bucks and was shooting 46 percent from behind the arc, but probably will be passed over for James Jones, who is the contest's defending champion. Jones has the right to defend his title and plans to do so. Meanwhile, it's doubtful the NBA will invite two players from the same team.
