"Miami Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall told the Sun-Sentinel that his wife did not stab him during an altercation at the couple's home that led to her arrest on April 22. My colleague and partner Omar Kelly traveled to Boston with Marshall and Omar came away with this story.

One of the reasons why Marshall traveled north was to escape the drama that has followed him this off-season. He hasn't wasted time up there and has spent a good amount of time working on his game.

Marshall told the Sun-Sentinel:

"Guys are trying to find their own thing to get an edge. I'm up running while everyone else is sleeping so there's no way I'm going to bend over in a game. I know I didn't have it last year and that was part of my frustration. I couldn't physically do what I'm use to doing, but this is about getting back."

As for the alleged stabbing, Marshall explained why he kept quiet about it. He hadn't talked to investigators until recently issuing a statement to the state attorney's office."
