"Michigan, yes. Marshall, no.
Left tackle Jake Long practiced despite his injured right shoulder and, afterward, sounded as if he would wage a single shoulder battle against anything different.
Quarterback Chad Henne, also out of the University of Michigan, practiced with a brace on his knee, albeit in a limited manner, sitting out some individual drills while participating in others.
Though by the end of Thursday's loss to Chicago, it appeared Long could make use only of one shoulder, he said he never considered taking himself out of the game.
``I hate missing any type of game time,'' Long said. ``I'm going to do everything I can to play.''
Wide receiver Brandon Marshall wasn't at practice, even to ride the exercise bike, as center Joe Berger (knee) and linebacker Karlos Dansby (elbow) were.
SIGNING ON
The Dolphins, who put Cory Procter on injured reserve over the weekend, signed Eric Ghiaciuc.
Ghiaciuc can play center and did so in Monday's practice, as did Ritchie Incognito, who took over Thursday when Procter was injured."
