Noah Syndergaard may be the next top prospect to be called up, especially if the pitcher keeps dominating as he did Thursday for the Mets' Triple-A affiliate in Las Vegas.

Syndergaard had a day to remember on the mound and at the plate. He allowed two runs on five hits and struck out eight over eight innings in Las Vegas' 8-2 win at Albuquerque.

The 22 year-old also had a stellar day at the plate, falling a triple shy of the cycle in a 3-for-4 performance with a two-run homer, double and two runs scored.
