"Mets closer Francisco Rodriguez hasn't forgotten where he came from, it's just not the same place anymore, the same players.

In fact, Rodriguez says pitcher Ervin Santana is the only player who remains on the Anaheim Angels' roster from his days with the club.

Tonight, Rodriquez, who played with the Angels from 2002 to 2008, goes against his former team for the first time. He insists it's just another day in the bullpen.

"It's been three years," said Roodriguez, who signed a three-year, $37-million deal with the Mets. "Whether I have to be thankful and really owe them a lot, yeah, because they gave me the opportunity since I was 16 years old to be apart of their organization.

"They gave me the opportunity to be where I am now. But other than that, when they cross the line, they're the enemy."

Though Rodriquez has pitched three straight days and blow a two-run ninth inning lead on Thursday night in Atlanta , he says he's available tonight.

"After last night I definitely want to go out there tonight if possible," he said."
