Rockets coach Kevin McHale downplayed the incident in Denver in which he grabbed Kyle Lowry and pulled him into a huddle, with players and coaches stepping between him and Lowry, saying it was just part of coaching in a tough game.

"There was no confrontation," McHale said. "I was yelling at everybody. We weren't playing very well. We weren't getting back on defense. I was letting them know I think we should get back on defense and take care of the ball."
