Brian McCann completed his rehabilitation assignment Saturday night in Triple-A Gwinnett and is ready to be activated Sunday and return to the Braves lineup.

"All the reports on McCann are really, really good, so I expect him here tomorrow," Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said after Saturday's game.

McCann caught five innings on Saturday night as scheduled and went 1-for-3 with a home run. Catching and throwing was his final hurdle before returning from the disabled list.

McCann had four at-bats at DH in Gwinnett on Friday, going 1-for-3 with an RBI single and three hard hit balls.
