"If Green Bay Packers assistant coach Ben McAdoo does as well as some of his predecessors, he should make the transition from coaching tight ends to overseeing a critical part of the offense just fine.
On Wednesday, McAdoo agreed to a deal to become the team's quarterbacks coach, according to his agent, Bob LaMonte.
LaMonte, a longtime friend and representative of former Packers coach Mike Holmgren, said that McAdoo was following in the footsteps of a couple of his other clients, who went from tight ends coaches to quarterbacks coaches or offensive coordinators."
