Did you sleep in the 24 hours after you won?

Tyson Chandler: No. Very little sleep. We celebrated on the floor, which is like an out-of-body experience. Afterwards, in the back we celebrated, do all the traditional stuff, spray champagne. After that, I had to have a moment where I went outside and sat down against the wall, you know, talking to my parents. I couldn't believe that it actually happened. After that, I went in the shower and had my own moment where I was just sitting back and reflecting on my whole career. The parade was amazing. The entire city had waited for that moment.

How involved are you in the lockout stuff?

Tyson Chandler: I'm involved as far as talking to other players and my peers and seeing what's going on. I'll be a part of regional meetings coming up. I think that we need to take a stand as players. We are the product and we put on the show. The owners are trying to take the game away from us. I feel like it's unfair bargaining."
