"Lamar Odom has been selected by USA Basketball as one of 20 finalists for the 2012 U.S. Olympic team that will compete in the London Games.

"It's an amazing opportunity," the Mavericks forward said. "Hopefully I can pick up my play so I can secure a spot on that team. I had a lot of fun doing that. And a lot of pride playing for your country."

Odom played for the U.S. at the 2004 Olympics and the 2010 World Championships."
