"Rick Carlisle may be part of a very rare feat. But the Dallas Mavericks' coach isn't so sure.

Carlisle has won an NBA championship ring as a player in 1986 with the Boston Celtics, and as a coach with the Mavs last year. He also won a CBA championship ring in 1987 with the Albany Patroons as a player.

Carlisle knows Phil Jackson won NBA champion rings as a player and a coach, and a CBA ring as a coach. But he doesn't know if anyone has his trifecta.
