"Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew won the league's rushing title, but he lost the FedEx Ground Player of the Year to LeSean McCoy of the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday.
Since it was a fan vote, Jones-Drew might have been at a disadvantage playing for a small market team, but said he wasn't disappointed and McCoy deserved it for his 17-touchdown season. Ray Rice of the Ravens was the other player on the ballot.
"Seventeen touchdowns is amazing,'' Jones-Drew said. "He did a great job.''"
