"Since joining the Titans last week, quarterback Matt Hasselbeck hadn't been allowed to practice or work out with his new teammates until Thursday night.
"I came into camp really feeling good and ready to go, but I'd really been sitting around, drinking sweet tea," he said. "I really have been doing nothing at all."
All that changed at Baptist Sports Park on Thursday. With the new collective bargaining agreement in place, free-agent signees were allowed to work.
The former Seahawks quarterback had extra pep in his step and lit a fire under the team, Coach Mike Munchak said.
"I thought he was a young rookie he was so excited," he said. "I thought we had a good tempo going up until now but he really picked things up. He brought a lot of energy and excitement and I think the guys are really looking forward to watching him work. I thought he did a nice job.""
