Surely the person who posed the question meant well.

But the way it was phrased made me cringe.

This was early last night at American Airlines Arena, before Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra sat down for a pregame press conference, and, naturally, all of the questions dealt with the status of All-Star forward Chris Bosh, who has missed much of the postseason because of a lower abdominal strain but dressed for last night's game against the Celtics.

Near the end of the brief press conference — actually, it was the last question — Spoelstra was asked about reports that Bosh's masseuse had died late Monday night.
