"Ravens receiver Derrick Mason underwent successful finger and hernia surgery recently in Philadelphia, and was flying back home to Nashville, Tenn., this morning.

Mason was interviewed on 'The Norris and Davis Show' this morning on 105.7 The Fan. The hernia surgery was a surprise because neither Mason nor team officials said anything about it during the season, but Mason said it first surfaced with about two weeks left in the regular season."
