Maryland has offered 2015 Gonzaga (D.C.) quarterback Nick Johns, the junior announce via Twitter on Wednesday evening.

Johns, rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.com, stands 6-3 and weighs 215 pounds. He is ranked as the 14th-best prospect at the quarterback position.

Also this week, Maryland offered New Mexico quarterback Zach Gentry from the Class of 2015, a four-star prospect who is a massive 6-6, 230 pounds.

At the quarterback position, C.J. Brown will start for Maryland in his sixth year during the 2014 season. Caleb Rowe, Perry Hills, Shane Cockerille, and freshman Will Ulmer are also on the roster. QB-turned-wide-receiver Ricardo Young has graduated, head coach Randy Edsall announced this week.
