"Asked his level of concern about MarShon Brooks, who has missed three games with a problem with his Achilles' tendon, Nets coach Avery Johnson said he will wait to see what tests Saturday reveal on Brooks before panicking.
"We're going to get him checked out again tomorrow, and then we'll see where he is Sunday," Johnson said. "If he's not playing Sunday, then I'm going to start to get a little bit more concerned."
Before the shootaround, Brooks had been optimistic he might be able to play, and told reporters his Achilles felt "great."
"It feels great right now," he'd said. "Obviously, I haven't ran or warmed up yet."
But once the shootaround started, Johnson said Brooks couldn't make it through any part of it.
