This time, Henderson Alvarez made sure it was safe to celebrate.

Unlike his 2013 season-ending no-hitter, during which he completed the ninth and raised his arms unaware of the 0-0 score, Alvarez confirmed he didn't imagine the game's lone run Tuesday. The Marlins wouldn't have to clinch this Alvarez shutout in walk-off fashion.

Alvarez's two-out single in the fifth loaded the bases for Christian Yelich, who drew an RBI-walk in the 1-0 Marlins' win over the Rays. His fifth career shutout gave the Marlins a two-game sweep in the South Florida segment of the home-and-home Citrus Series, which continues Wednesday night at Tropicana Field.
