"Mark Teixeira's struggles at the plate continued Saturday, as the first baseman went 1-for-5 in the Yankees' win over the Blue Jays. Teixeira is hitting .240 this season, 43 points below his career average. In his past 25 games, Teixeira is batting .196 with a .271 on-base percentage.

"I'm waiting for that next hot streak. I haven't been swinging the bat very well the last couple weeks," Teixeira said. "Hopefully I'll start turning it around as soon as possible. You never like going through these little dips, but they happen. I just have to swing at some better pitches and be a little more patient. I think it will turn around for me."

Teixeira's season has been a strange one. He is tied with Curtis Granderson for the team lead in home runs with 25, while his 66 RBI are tops on the club."
