"During Sunday's game, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez was worried that Plaxico Burress and Derrick Mason felt distant from the game plan.

"(Santonio Holmes) and Dustin (Keller) got a bunch of catches early, and (LaDainian Tomlinson) and Plaxico and Mason were kind of sitting there like 'Man, you brought us in here,' there's all this stuff going on and they're gamers and competitors and they're like, 'Man.'"

So Sanchez felt the need to go over and say something.

"I made it a point to go over and say 'Hang with me man. Hang with me, I'll get you the rock don't worry. Just keep running the routes, stay sharp, trust me I will throw you the ball and it will happen.'"
