Boston Celtics swingman Marcus Smart has been out for the last several games with a hand injury he suffered after punching something in a hotel room recently. Now it appears that injury will keep him out for an even longer amount of time.

The team announced Sunday that Smart will not return to action until after the All-Star break, per Bill Doyle of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

Smart being out that long is not good for the Celtics. There are still some games before the official start of the All-Star break, and Smart is still hurt with no real timetable for his return other than the vague update from the team.
