Veteran center Marcus Camby is rehabbing from surgery that repaired a torn plantar fascia in his left foot and hopes to return to the NBA this season, reports MyFoxHouston.com's Mark Berman. Camby told the news station that he's only able to jog on a treadmill at this point, but he is aiming to hit the hardwood in about a month.

He'd like to return with his hometown Houston Rockets. Camby joined the Rockets for training camp prior to the 2013-14 season but was waived after struggling through his foot issues. It could be a longshot for Camby to join Houston, which has a full roster, but an opportunity could open up due to injury or trade.
